HERE and THERE : 12-hour virtual program with two streams, side by side, featuring the multimedia work from 71 international artists from 10am ET-10pmET on May 22nd 2021.

HERE and THERE is a collaboration between Window Room (Philadelphia) and Parkhaus15 (Orlando), cultivating an exchange between artists globally, experimenting with virtual exhibition and reintroducing physical space.

On this website are two streams side by side, one programmed by Window Room the other Parkhaus15. The schedules and content of each stream drift in and out of relationship with one another to make global connections, ask where we are now and reflect on how we live within the repercussions of COVID-19 and conflicts of 2020 both together and totally out of sync.
March 2020, at the start of the pandemic Window Room created a virtual space to share and program art called Window Room TV. In May 2020 Window Room TV streamed events in collaboration with Living Window, a physical installation featuring 35 selected works, by 24 artists, contributing from 12 countries. Living Window projected selected submissions on loop through a 4ftx5ft window projection, visible at street view. In collaboration with Window Room TV, Living Window programmed a live street view stream of the installation, artist talks, and multiple streams
of the entire Living Window video program. This collaboration brought together artists from around the world and gave support and inspiration to the creation of Parkhaus15 in Orlando Florida.
Now, almost exactly a year later we come together again to expand upon our community of artists and bring you HERE & THERE: a 12-hour virtual program with side-by-side streams featuring the multimedia work from 71 international artists.

Window Room is a studio space in southwest Philadelphia. We are space for artists to experiment with and program multidisciplinary arts. We currently provide virtual programming and studio space for artists to work privately. As the world reopens we are reimagining what safe physical programming looks like.
