WRONG KIND OF FAT (2019) SCREENS AT HOMOGRAFÍA/HOMOGRAPHY, BRUSSELS

 

Very pleased that WRONG KIND OF FAT: SOME BEAR OVER THE PAIN-BOW (2019) has been selected for festival of #video works and #performance.  

HOMOGRAFÍA/HOMOGRAPHY presents a programme of highly suggestive visual compositions, which explore #identity and #gender, questionning concepts such as #masculinity and its #representation, stereotypes and media manipulation, #voyeurism #exhibitionism, and the act of ‘dressing the body in art.’

HOMOGRAFÍA / HOMOGRAPHY intends to develop a cartography of gender, diversity, and creation within #minority groups, through a selection of experimental works. A programme of video and in-situ captures the eye of the beholder, and initiates discussion between audience, artists & academics. The muestra was presented at ArtSpace México and CC Clavijero, Morelia (MX) in 2015 & 2016; it is now looking at presenting a third edition in Brussels (BE). It is curated by Edgar Ramírez & Chris Miller.
